Ezee Riders Tours
With over 40 miles of stunning coastline, beautiful forest trails and award-winning attractions East Lothian is the perfect place to explore the great outdoors. And what better way to do that than on one of our electric bike tours.
Our e-bike tours are led by our friendly, knowledgeable local guides who can’t wait to show you East Lothian’s spectacular landscape, beaches and historic buildings. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, by the end of one of our tours you’ll feel more connected to East Lothian than ever before!
Ezee Riders runs two set tours both starting from the magnificent location of our HQ, right by Tantallon Castle:
- Our Castle and Coastline Tour is an easy-going circular route taking in some of East Lothian’s most glorious countryside as well as breath-taking beaches and stunning castles.
- Our E-bike Foodie Tour meanders between our favourite cafes, farm shops and secret picnic spots, so you get a real taste of everything that Scotland’s Food & Drink county has to offer.
Alternatively, a bespoke private tour can be arranged for groups of three or more.

E-Bike Foodie Tour
This one-of-a-kind guided tour is designed for foodies and cycling enthusiasts alike, offering a unique way to experience the stunning East Lothian countryside and savour its delicious locally sourced food and drink. The tour takes you on a journey through some of the most picturesque locations in the county, while also exploring the fascinating history and culture of the area.
The Electric Bike Foodie Tour begins near the charming seaside town of North Berwick. Covering approximately 15 miles, our expert guides will lead you on an immersive journey, where you’ll discover East Lothian’s hidden culinary treasures, and learn about the passionate producers.
The tour includes e-bike hire, a knowledgeable guide, a delicious brunch, tea and coffee, a mouth-watering picnic lunch, and some tasty baked treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. This is a great opportunity to get out and explore the beauty of East Lothian while indulging in some amazing food and drink.
The Electric Bike Foodie Tour is suitable for anyone over 18 years and of any fitness level, with the electric bikes making it easy to explore the area without breaking a sweat. The bikes are environmentally friendly, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the countryside while minimising your carbon footprint.
Castle and Coastline Tour
Your cycling adventure begins at Ez Riders HQ, beside the magnificent Tantallon castle. Meandering along idyllic farm tracks, we pass the stunning Seacliff beach, with breathtaking views of the Bass Rock and home to the UK’s smallest harbour. We then cycle through the beautiful Tyninghame estate, home to a golden beach and pretty woodland trails. Heading inland we pedal through Binning Wood where we pause for a cuppa and some home-baked treats, taking in the tranquility of our surroundings.
We then make our way home along the John Muir way, which offers unique gravel trails traversing beautiful fields and woodlands.

EVENING TOURS
Leaves Ezee Riders HQ at 6.30pm returning at 8:00pm
Guided e-bike ride, 1 1/2 hours (around 8 miles) of mostly off-road cycling.
Every Thursday evening from April to September (or by arrangement).

BESPOKE TOURS
If you are a group of at least three we can tailor the tour to your wishes in terms of timings and where we visit.
Options include visiting Archerfield Walled Garden or cycling to Dunbar both using the John Muir Way cycle paths.
Alternatively, we can take you further afield with our mountain E-bikes so you can experience a day cycling in the Lammermuirs. This is a stunning area of high moorland, forestry and agriculture dotted with pretty reservoirs and teaming with wildlife. We can also put together a bike activity for your corporate event.
CORPORATE DAYS
A guided electric bike tour is an amazing way for your team to bond, enjoy exercise, fresh air and most importantly have fun. The beauty of electric bikes is they allow a group of people with differing fitness levels to all cycle together.
We can organise a, mostly off-road, guided tour that will take in some of the most beautiful countryside in East Lothian. We will also take care of booking a local restaurant for lunch or we can provide delicious picnics.
Alternatively we can transport the e-bikes to your place of work or favourite cycling destination in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians. We can then plan a safe and fun route taking in the many cycling paths local beauty spots in the area.
